A1) No. It is an Alliance which is a low-cost alternative to a Trade Association. Trade Associations are bound by strict legal rules and regulations which Alliances are not bound by.

A2) The BIHA was launched in December 2000, by Mark Jerram and 30 other bouncy castle hire companies. The “Founder Members”.
